"Medical Imaging is a leading monthly news and business magazine for radiology and imaging professionals who are involved in selecting, managing, and supporting technology that is used in the medical-imaging department of a health-care provider facility.

Technology is driving health-care, whether from an IT or clinical perspective, and imaging is on the cusp of very exciting developments. Medical Imaging takes you there and gives you the insight to make more informed decisions at your facility. Each month, we investigate and then report on the technologies available to the industry, the role they play, the benefits they provide, where and how they are being used, and who is adopting them. But most importantly, we answer the question of how these technologies affect you and your profession.

Our feature articles explore the topics that are relevant to the industry—ultrasound, MRI, CT, mammography, DR, nuclear medicine, PACS, 3-D and 4-D imaging, CR, archiving and storage, fluoroscopy, patient safety and comfort, radiation therapy, image-guided surgery, PET, bacteriology, staffing, marketing, bone densitometry, CAD, printers, monitors, cardiology, asset management … the list goes on. Other features provide previews and wrap-ups of industry-related events, product roundups, and how-to lists.

So that you can find the information you want and need quickly, our monthly editorial sections are grouped by modality: MRI & CT; Ultrasound; Oncology, about imaging and treating cancer; Informatics, which serves the emerging imaging informatics profession; and R&F, about x-ray, angiography, and fluoroscopy. These sections provide you with all of the latest technology and product information, including FDA clearances, new applications, safety tips, clinical study results, educational opportunities, and more. Other monthly departments include Product Showcase, highlighting new goods on the market; and Emerging Technology, highlights an up-and-coming technology.

Medical Imaging publishes 12 issues per year, in addition to an annual Buyer's Guide. Our subscribers include radiologists, hospital and radiology administrators, PACS/RIS administrators, technology managers, IT networking managers, technicians, medical physicists, radiation oncologists, and clinical staff. In addition to those at health-care facilities, the publication reaches subscribers at manufacturing companies, OEMs, dealers, distributors, and resellers."[1]
